I have been wanting to try this place for years based on how good it smells when you walk by...I live a few blocks away from them. I hadn't tried it as it wasn't always the most appealing building/location. But this past Friday I did take and YES! It takes as good as it smells. I ate leftovers all weekend...couldn't get enough. I had the chicken curry, chicken tikka, and saag. The curry and saag were my favorites. It is definitely going to be a regular for me (which is a big deal since I didn't do a lot of take out so it has to be great for me to ick it).

Great food! Little kept secret and Willow Glen. My brother and I used to go there at least once a week. Not the greatest ambience but great food.

Love this place! It's our usual go-to when we are craving Indian food. We typically order the chicken butter with rice and a la carte spinach paneer. Sometimes, we'll get a serving filled with chicken and paneer, and other times, there's not enough protein - so they could work on consistency. We will keep paneer in our freezer to add to the leftover spinach paneer the next day. Garlic naan is a must!

This food is AMAZING! Best Indian food in San Jose hands down!! I live nearby so maybe I'm biased but my husband and I love this place so much. Don't let the outside scare you, it's definitely a hole in the wall. Garlic naan is out of this world amazing!!! 10/10 recommend. Also the service from the men working here is so sweet and endearing. They're never rude, always polite. And it's not crazy expensive! I love this restaurant! Hope they never ever go out of business!!!!

Wonderful. Our server/ manager?/ owner? ( no idea) was Great! Personable and cheerful, made sure our experience was as it should be, and it was. We had the Chicken Vindaloo ( cubed chicken breast in a spicy red sauce, very tasty. We also had the Lamb Biryani , lamb Curry and we exchanger our plain naan with chicken and the other with paneer naan. Spice to the asking. Will return. Little parking on site Are you here yet?

Ordering: easily through the phone. Parking: Small lot, might need to street park if it's full. Food: Butter chicken & naan. Butter chicken 4/5 Very heavy butter flavor, non-existent tomato flavor (which every other butter chicken had heaps of in the area that i've tried). Was pretty good to eat with rice but I missed having a little bit of the tomato flavor. Good portion size. Chicken was tender. Naan was pretty standard, good sized pieces and paired well with the butter chicken. Was pretty happy with this meal and will be back in the future

The Tikka Masala full dinner was delicious and perfect for two meals. It was the perfect amount of creamy and the white boneless chicken was so yummy! It seems like a family run business. The hostess and the cooks in the back seemed to be working hard on each unique dish ordered! I will definitely be back with my family!! I personally give 4 stars because I enjoy my Tikka Masala with a lot of spice- maybe next time I will ask to adjust my spice level.

This is a small unassuming restaurant in a nondescript building. Wow, I did not expect much but the food was excellent. Don't go here for the ambience or decor but certainly go for the food. The paneer tikka masala, paneer naan and malai kofta were great. A tad spicy though I asked for mild but still very good. Docking a star for the quiz I had to endure before I was able to pick up the food I ordered online. ;-) Perhaps they have had issues with people stealing other's to-go orders.
